Gravity Training

Pappas Physical Therapy is now offering Gravity fitness training sessions to people of any age and activity level and also to people with a history of injuries. GRAVITY Group Training is an affordable way to get a full body workout, to build muscle, burn fat, and promote overall health and wellness. People of all fitness levels are welcomed, as well as, people with a history of back, hip, knee, shoulder or ankle pain. Our trained professionals will be able to adjust the difficulty level to each individual. The GTS (gravity training system) is a gravity-training device that encourages functional resistance training by using an individual's body weight as resistance, utilizing a dynamic cable, pulley system and free-motion glideboard. Able to adjust to nine different levels of resistance, the machine engages all major muscle groups and facilitates more than 250 strength training, stretching and Pilates exercises.

These 30 minute exercise sessions focus on muscle isolation and integration, building, muscular strength and endurance while including unique core and stretching exercises. Classes are offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening and are taught by a licensed physical therapist/personal trainer.
