Elizabeth Carey MS, OTR/L, CHT
Elizabeth Carey MS, OTR/L, CHT
An Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist, Liz joined Pappas OPT Physical and Hand Therapy in 2011. She graduated from the University of New England in 2001 with a Masters in Occupational Therapy and has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 2011. In 2016 she received her certification in Advanced Practice in Hand Therapy from Evidence in Motion. Her specialties include hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, including orthopedic and neurological injuries, wound care, work-related injuries and custom splinting. Her interests include spending time with her husband and two boys and volunteering in the schools.

Clinic DirectorBrette Rothschild graduated from Boston University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and in 2002 with Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Brette joined the Pappas OPT Family in 2022. Brette is certified to perform Dry Needling. Her clinical practice has centered on evidence-based treatment for orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and neurological patients. Brette firmly believes that every person is a unique individual with individual goals and as such aims to work with patients to provide the care and education that will enable their return to optimal health and performance.
Her personal interests include weightlifting, spending time with family and her dogs, pickleball and volleyball.

Physical Therapist AssistantCedric Norris Jr. earned his Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) certification from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to that, Cedric obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University Of Rhode Island.
Cedric specializes in orthopedics and is most interested in treating knees and shoulders.
In his free time, Cedric enjoys taking trips and helping others. He is also a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Occupational TherapistAmanda completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Rhode Island in 2021 receiving a BS in Kinesiology. She continued her education and earned her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Bay Path University in 2023. Amanda specializes in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation with a special interest in work-related injuries and splinting.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, horseback riding, and spending time with her friends and family.

Physical TherapistBrad recently received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at MCPHS University in 2019. Before pursuing his degree in PT, Brad received his Bachelors in Athletic Training at Sacred Heart University in 2014. Brad has past experience working in the high school setting as an Athletic Trainer for 2 years as well as being a NCAA Division 1 Volleyball player for Sacred Heart. Brad has a passion for working with the active community, high school, and college setting to assist them in achieving their physical goals. He holds specialized certifications in The Graston Technique, Blood flow restriction, and as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). After working in Central MA for the first few years of his PT profession, Brad joined Pappas OPT in 2023.
