Middletown

I've been working with both Colin and Ephraim since mid-November, in advance of and following my right knee replacement. I can't say enough about their skill, knowledge, and kindness as I've worked through this rehabilitation process. They are true assets to the practice. The desk staff and all the assistants I've interacted with have also been equally pleasant and helpful at each visit.

Collin and Chloe were great in helping me get to a good place with my knees.

Chloe helped me rehab a complete hip replacement. She was kind, knowledgeable, and listened to me. With her help as well as Chris and Hunter, I was back to normal in record time! Thanks everyone!!

I had both knees replaced, back to back, resulting in 6 months total (3 mos/knee) therapy - all of which was performed at Pappas OPT. My therapists - Mary Colfield and Chloe Campellone were great.Mary was with me for both knees, Chloe got the right. They were excellent at pushing patients toward improvement and full recovery, but not into the realm of too much pain.

Sessions almost always begin with heat and end with icing. Therapy and exercises fill the in between period. You should be aware that there is a senior and junior therapist assigned to your case, with the junior taking the majority of the sessions. Every therapist there that I saw, if coming to the end of the allotted hour would pass off the patient to what seemed to be very junior therapists to finish off assigned exercises. This is disconcerting for some parents, especially when the new therapist is unfamiliar with what exercises, sets, reps, and so on are required. Had the assigned team of two been a team of three, it would be easier. This is indeed a small irritant, if that, but it was endemic.
Pappas is a clean and spacious facility. They do not lack for equipment or skilled personnel. The administrative side of the operation is smoothly handled. All the staff is consistently cheerful and positive. Parking was never a problem.

I walked into Pappas OPT with a left leg that looked like hell on a cracker. 6 months later, having been scrupulous in following instructions and working out to schedule, I walked out with 2 knees that were fully recovered. Mary and Chloe and Pappas OPT were a huge part in that journey.

After a miniscus tear in my knee,in order to keep playing squash and jogging,pappas fixed me up like new.mary cofield was great,attentative and proffesional..thank you very much.

I get truly expert and involved care at the Middletown RI office. My therapist Anjelica takes wonderful care of me and is committed to getting me stronger.

All the staff were informative and very helpful! Extremely grateful they were able to help me with my shoulder and get me back to full duty!

Both Chloe and Angelica gave me the utmost respect and confidence in my difficult journey trying to navigate multiple maladies. I feel their function and follow up was critical in my progression. I struggled with numerous plateaus but they kept me on the right path. I couldn’t be more grateful to them and appreciate their efforts. Many PT choices but I know I made the correct decision!!

My 3rd time using Pappas OPT for different injuries. Staff has changed but the professional care and dedication has not.
A special shout out to Sean Rush whose attention to detail and care and to Anjelica Serrano who was also dedicated and encouraging.
A great experience from the reception to the “trainees” who packed the ice/heat.

I had a total knee replacement, and the visiting PT wasn't enough. I was referred here by a friend from Tiverton, but that office had no openings, so when calling Middletown, they had availability and had me in there right away! The entire staff were top notch!! Every visit, everyone knew who you were and called you by name, which was very personal which made you feel so welcomed and that they were going to make you feel better!
Also, they were always keeping everything clean & sanitized, which was very impressive! Everyone pitching in and Teamwork is definitely happening there!! I would definitely go back if needed in the future!! Thanks to everyone who helped me, just to name a few...Sean, Angelica, Josh, Kelly, etc....😁

I truly cannot say enough good things about this business. I've had physical therapy at other places but nothing compares to Pappas OPT in Middletown. They were constantly cleaning all the tables and changing pillowcases and they were excellent with keeping their schedules. All the staff were knowledgeable and friendly from the reception staff to the physical therapists. They followed protocol and I progressed at a speed I was comfortable with yet challenged with. Sean Rush, therapist and clinic director was professional, kind, and totally made me feel at ease with the whole process. And my assigned main therapist was Colin McCarron and I honestly was so comfortable with his style and personality that I looked forward to going to my therapy visits which I never had in the past with other places. He took me soon after my total hip replacement and brought me to a place physically where I am so happy to have such a range of motion so early in the game. No more walkers or crutches or stairlifts!
If I ever need therapy again I would hope that I would be assigned to my favorite therapist, Colin!

I recommend this entire establishment to anyone who needs a place to rehab no matter what body part needs work. They know their jobs and do it extremely well! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐++

Skeptical going in, tired going out but the next day I could walk normal and had no knee pain after over a month with knee and leg issues. Dr Isenburg targeted my problem and put me on the road to wellness. Im very thankful.
