Dena King OTR/L
Occupational TherapistDena earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of New England. She has over 22 years of experience in outpatient rehabilitation.
Dena treats a wide variety of orthopedic conditions with an emphasis on upper extremity rehabilitation and hand therapy. She is also a pediatric therapist with a focus on providing treatment for developmental and neurological diagnoses.
In her free time, Dena loves spending time with her husband and daughters, enjoying all their activities and sporting events. She can often be found in the garden, at the beach or rooting for the Red Sox and Patriots.

Physical TherapistChloe earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and Bachelor of Health Science degree from Springfield College.
Chloe has experience treating patients of all age ranges with orthopedic and neurological conditions. She enjoys helping her patients get back to their passions by incorporating individualized, functional activities into their treatment sessions.
In her free time, Chloe loves exploring the hiking trails around Rhode Island and relishing in the beauty of native birds.

Physical Therapy AssistantDenise has been in the health and fitness industry for over 30 years. She received her Physical Therapy Assistant’s degree from the Community College of Rhode Island and was previously a fitness and aerobics instructor.
Denise joined OPT in 2001 and has experience working with a broad range of diagnoses working and patients of all ages. She is also an IFPA Certified Fitness Trainer and enjoys designing and implementing individual fitness programs.

Partner/Regional DirectorJosh earned his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 2001, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Evidence in Motion in 2012. He is board certified in orthopedics and focuses in his clinical practice on orthopedics, hip dysfunction, post-operative rehab, spinal pain and injuries, shoulder, knee and ankle pain and injuries. In 2018, Josh was certified in acute and chronic concussion management through Complete Concussion Management. He can assist in managing concussions from the acute phase and progress patients back to work and/or activities in a safe and timely manner. He is a member of the Private Practice Section of the APTA. Josh has been the clinic director for Lepre Physical Therapy in North Providence since 2002. In 2017 he partnered with Mike Pappas OPT to create Pappas OPT Physical and Hand Therapy of North Providence. His hobbies include sports, hiking, biking and spending time with family and friends.

Clinic DirectorAshley joined Pappas OPT in 2006 as a Physical Therapist Tech. This experience piqued her interest in physical therapy and sparked her journey to New England Tech where she graduated in 2013 with a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Since then, Ashley has fined tuned her skill set in various fields of physical therapy including outpatient orthopedics, homecare, acute care, skilled nursing, and rehab hospital care. Ashley has earned multiple certifications including Postural Specialist, Kinesio Taping Practitioner, and certification in Vertigo and Concussion management. Her clinical interests focus on the rehabilitation of athletes, but her dedication extends to patients of all ages and diagnoses. Ashley is deeply committed to building strong relationships with each patient and their families, helping them achieve their goals and return to their previous level of function. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys hiking and exploring New England with her dog, traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends.
